A company is a Finnish multinational telecommunications, information technology and consumer electronics company, founded in 1865. It manufactures and ships products all around the globe and therefore need a tight control of its packaging to ensure consistency at any time. IPS Lando is a privileged packaging provider for it since 2008 and has helped consolidating packaging solutions used across all continents.

CHALLENGE :

IPS Lando was offered to develop a packaging solution for R2 series 5G gateways, product sold globally, inducing product differences in hardware and plugin systems according to its final market. It put in place high standards in its tests procedure including a 14 days environmental test. IPS Lando was asked to offer a solution that can answer those challenges.

SOLUTION:

IPS Lando solution is paper based only, making this packaging solution as eco friendly as possible. Material usage was also reduced to its minimum to strive for more sustainability and reduce carbon footprint for a company .

IPS Lando has developed a unique solution that can be used globally, all power cords and plugs fit in it. One packaging Sku for all product variations. Reducing packing error and improve assembly efficiency was our main goal when starting developing our solution

RESULTS:

IPS Lando packaging solution is a success, it has passed all the tests needed. More than being protective and cost efficient, the new pack offers a real free frustration opening and enhances customer experience. Performance, cost reduction and brand recognition achieve with one smart design.
