A company is a Finnish multinational telecommunications, information technology and consumer electronics company, founded in 1865.It manufactures and ships products all around the globe and therefore need a tight control of its packaging to ensure consistency at any time. IPS Lando is a privileged packaging provider for it since 2008 and has helped consolidating packaging solutions used across all continents.

CHALLENGE :

A company like many other global corporation is aiming for more sustainability and strive for carbon free supply chain. We were asked to work on the AHEB Series program with strict goals to achieve.

Develop a fully paper based solution, reduce the material usage to its minimum whil still offering a full protective performance.

SOLUTION:

IPS Lando developed an only paper based solution, including outer box and inner cushions, with a high folding time efficiency. All non-ecofriendly material was removed. Our solution passed with success ISTA tests.

RESULTS:

IPS solution was a combination of wins, by removing all foam and expensive protective part, we not only help to reduce the time of packing the part but we reduced the over whole pack cost.

Delivered flat our solution also brought storage cost savings.

Only paper based solution is an easy recyclable solution at the end of the packaging life.
