CUSTOMTER NEED:

A company is a Finnish multinational telecommunications, information technology and consumer electronics company, founded in 1865. It manufactures and ships products all around the globe and therefore need a tight control of its packaging to ensure consistency at any time. IPS Lando is a privileged packaging provider for it since 2008 and has helped consolidating packaging solutions used across all continents.

CHALLENGE :

One of the main goal in this program was to optimize supply chain efficiency and add value in our customer supply chain. We focus on, reduce the use of packaging to the minimum, improve container loading rate, avoid any damage during transit.

SOLUTION:

IPS Lando came up with a really innovative nesting solution for them. We totally removed the use of plastic bags/ bubble bags and improve loading rate at the same time. We helped to save on operational/ material/ logistics costs by a better design and an understanding of our customer supply chain. Solution was 100% validated through ISTA tests.

RESULTS:

Damage rate reduced to 0%. Loading rate, density in container improved by 10%. Removal of extra material, cost reduction in packaging by 8%. Total savings achieve in a year 500k$.
